Sowmya, I am hearing to you after sometime and refreshing it is. Antha Janaki sing alike :) Sooper composition and sooper rendition with great feel. Charanams were really nice. Konjam track la tempo issues irukkara maathiri irukku ? but nevertheless Loved it. Unga voice la sound registers vechurukeengale ! Adutha antha keyboarla instrument maathara mathiri unga voice maathi oru male rendition kudukka poreengala ? :D

This gem in the Maestro’s treasure chest stands out with a unique glitter and never fails to soothe my tympanic membrane!.

Sowmya, although I enjoyed your performance I was expecting a more breezy voice for this lilting melody. Somehow for me this song which is the basis for eye catching dance and decor did not come through correctly from you. Needed a bit more of a laid back approach, especially for this song which also has interesting sangathis.

The recording of your voice has somehow suffered is what I can detect. Your voice sounds a bit alienated and you do not seem fully immersed in the music. This could be because of inadequate monitoring while you are singing and recording. Please look into this issue as it can quite adversely affect the mood and grip of your singing, and will show up in intricate songs like ths one.

My honest opinion is that you can do much better. Without going into the details I will say that the notes were not caressed the right way and the sangathis were slightly a bit here and there in places. Overall it beared closeness to the original and your voice was sweet in this … this sweet voice could have been handled better is what I felt and as a fan of your songs this is of some concern.

You obviously are a good singer and know your paces pretty well but your nuances are getting compromised due to lack of application of both singing and technical talent.

I must say I did enjoy your voice a lot though. Cheers.

lovely singing. i am again surprised at how different ur voice sounds from the “Hey aatha” song. both are nice, but in this instance, i liked the “hey aatha” song….maybe just becoz i am such a fan of that song.
