I wonder if songs mature like fine wine, when left to the passage of time (like 2 years for example?! ;-))! Nice one that has come out of the woodwork Sowmya!.

The passion for your singing comes through in your expression and you have sung it energetically. The tone of the reverb was a bit sharp and took away the lullaby touch I felt. You have also added a slightly stronger touch in places like then’PAANDI’, where the Paandi got a bit of a burst!. Softer would have been more soothing.

In the main, a very soulful rendition. In fact you could EQ this song for a softer touch as you basically have good dynamics in your voice. I liked your version anyhow and prompts me to sing the male version of it!. Should I imitate!? ;-)

For a 2 year old recording this is good!.

I felt nostalgic hearing this song. Well rendered by you and as you have correctly said lyrics by vaali sir is simply super. SPB version daan naan nirayatadava kettirukken. I’s in college at that time. SPB maadiri paada aasappaattu inda paatta try panni mudiyaamaponadu njaapagathirkku vandathu.
