Very fresh and new! Liked the arrangement very much.
Nice rendition but for some shruthi slips like at sol…. aaruyire.
One more small thing: the background guitar is the strength of the song but at the same time, thought it got a little monotonous towards the end…. some kind of break/ pause here and there might have added some punch.
But really enjoyed it guys. Very fresh sounding!

Just a small thing I felt was the words “Sol Enadhuyire” sounded a bit too plain…. Probably your voice in that portion may have made it sound like tht… :)

Nice work both of you… The tune is really haunting… The composer and singer was able to communicate… I believe thats the whole point in a creation…. The false voice trials were good but could have been in low gain… just a thought… Over all 5/5 for composer and 5/5 for soumya…great singing…Great

Anirudh – good to hear your work after a long break.Very soothing composition espec liked the strumming a lot.In the mix,the vol of the instrumental could have been brought down a bit? Hope you will post more often.

Sowmya – very good singing. Espec the stretch at 02:27 was an absolute delight to listen to. Minor offs at a couple of places. Good to know that you have a writer in you as well. Cant comment on the lyrics , Sowmya – but at places, needed a little more filling up with words i thought(I shouldnt be saying this when i have never tried a hand at penning lyrics)

Nice vocals, but could have been a bit more definitive in notes, sila idam meloda ponaa maadhiri oru feeling. I see that it was intentional from the comments above, but then that was a little unsettling to me :-) MY 2c anyways!!

Nice guitar comp Anirudh and nice playing.
Sowmya … congrats on your original song singing first of all!. Well done and hats off.
However felt that the melody was not definitive for such a slow song with few words. In these cases clear cut punch should be there in my opinion with good pronounciation. This was lacking for me and I could not get into the song.
I liked the humming backing part which seems quite cute and nice. The guitar was nicely recorded and nice to listen. Overall good one but would have liked the vocal to carry the song better … just my two pence worth which I try to keep honest at all times!.

Once again congrats on this one … but I think it is worth doing the vocal again after due thought is given to punchy and clear expressions.

Kudos on a well combined effort!.
