I love this song. I am Telugu but I’m a big fan of the “Maestro” and have a huge collection of his Tamil songs. I don’t understand the lyrics but I would have loved the songs even more if only I knew the language. This is just a reminder to all of us that music has no language barrier. I happened to see this movie when I was about 12 years old on Doordarshan (if you remember during the pre-cable days) where they used to show regional movies only on Sunday afternoons. I don’t remember the movie plot but 2 songs etched in my mind. This one and pon malai. Its not surprising to me to see a Telugu guy singing with you.
Having said that I would like to request you to share the karaoke mp3? We have a Sankranthi celebration coming up next month and this song would be really a treat for the folks here to hear.
