Very well sung Sowmya. One of my fav vintage Ilayaraja songs. Although track was not very good, your voice and singing have compensated amply.
By the way, the lyricist is Panchu Arunachalam and not Kannadasan as mentioned by you.
Great going Sowmya!

Very nice Sowmya! I am surprised that I am not familiar with the original.
I will kill that triple-bongo player if I see him! He has perfectly screwed up the tempo. This becomes a big deal when you do stage performance where you need synchronization from everyone on stage. I have seen many talented singers getting confused in those circumstances and making the rendition even worse…. So I always classify singers as studio singers and stage singers.
But I admire your talent…. Your vocals track is definitely not confused by this poor rhythm. I see you tried your best to give the best output. Good signs for stage singing…. Keep it up!
Cheers

Not one of your best Sowmya but enjoyed the song nevertheless.
This is a cherished romantic song, however you have taken a pathos approach in your singing which does not sit well IMO. Also some minor offs and diction issues are noted. You may have sung this in one of those moods that gets most of us sometimes and this is understandable!.
Lovely song nevertheless rendered with an off-beat colour, the Sowmya way!.

Nicely done, for the most part ( a minor off at 2.05/06 ). Been years since I heard this. Track as Bala said is totally screwed up but for that— your singing was totally in alignment, rather a tough job :)
A slight nasality in the high notes, cold or probably your EQ’ing ?
Kudos….
