Awesome pick!!!!! favoriting for the song pick itself… :) Was looking for a cover of this song since long… Loved Raja’s mastery with the arrangements and the progression of tune… Having plunged into the original song for years, couldn’t arrest my urge to expect those authentic live tones used by IR… But making the k-tracks for IR songs is not that easy… ‘singing could be better at places’ – I didn’t find any place where you could have done better, as you said… I mean you carried the song very well… Enjoyed this cover… Thanks for sharing…

ahaa sowmyaa… great song to pick… very sweetly rendered too… a little rushed for breath in some places in the charanams… understandable as this is a duet and you had to sing both the portions… but your feel made up for those nitpicks… great going!

Sowmya… lovely song… never heard before but Ilayaraja’s music itself attracts a listener irrespective of the language… didn’t knew that this was a duet until I have read Kaushick ji’s comment…. and this performance for a duet song needs double applause… :) Very well done! Nice voice you have.

Wonderful song selection and done beautifully single handedly…You either don’t want to give chance to male singers or don’t want to take chance with male singers (LOL)… As Aditi said, the charanam end is the difficult one you have done is nicely. That is the one, which haunts me too…
Long pending cover for me with my wife….(our old memories). I managed to prepare a better K-track and still waiting for my wife to give me sometime for recording.

its not that i don’t want to give a chance to a male singer to perform duets…i could sing songs for recording ,when the mood…flow comes to me…that time, i can’t expect a male singer to finish off the song quickly. its purely on what commitment the co singer has …at that time :)And i haven’t stopped anyone’s chance of asking…:P
