Ondra renda asaigal
Ondra renda asaigal Lyrics & Chords
Behind the calm and serene face lies the spirit to venture into the unearthed mystery of music. Harris Jayaraj !
A wonderful music director who can able to render a fusion of carnatic and western peppy beat with right orchestration. . With good percussions and a touch of ‘Arabian’ music stuff, he has managed to create a feel-good sound, which is sure to click. He has taken delivery of a new Euphonix MC Media Application Controller for his recording.
Recent years, I admired almost all the songs of Harris. I became a great fan of him after I heard the song “ Mercury mele “ .What a song.! What a lilt. Harris Jayaraj weaves wonders when he join hands with new directors. I never heard music directors used “sax” in a awesome way other than Harris…
Harris Jayaraj topples Rahman few years back. He broke ARR’s monopoly at the Filmfare Awards by bagging it for the film “minnale” I will be going on writing about his fantastic compositions and numerous songs with great tunes. I would like to mention song “ manjal veiyil” from vettaiaadu vilayaadu and “june ponal”, “unnale unnale” from the movie unnale unnale.
Here, I tried my best to perform this song with some extra western touch.
I have done this song 2 yrs back. Plz listen to it and gimme your comments

Hi Sowmya… Super n very well sung :)
But as u said extra western touch kuduthu paadirkaenga. So what I felt was originality was missing a bit. Otherwise nicely performed :)
Im too a die-hard fan of Harris Jeyaraj!!

Your voice sounds very different from your other renditions Sowmya. I liked the way you modulated it. Expressions were good. Not a big fan of this song in Tamil, felt it was masterfully rendered by Shankar Mahadevan in Hindi.

Sowmya, i havent heard this one before…you have done a great job. I agree with Dhiraj that you sounded very different in this compared to your other songs… songs in lower range suit you well :)

Hi Sowmya thanks.I always appreciate the originality….but that should be with in the bounds of sounding natural……I am sure you would do the same much better today, than this 2 years ago….To clariy,if you take Usha uthup in Malligaipoo, she sounds veryyyyyyyyyyyyy natural and thats the key……it is a thin yet a remarkable line……Trust I am communicating

Nice one Sowmya … enjoyed that … your bass voice especially sounds good!. Nice expressions too. Felt your voice was probably a touch higher than the accompanying guitar. Also for this type of song, try to add some chorus effect to your voice in the software …would sound even better I think.
Good job!.

After Good entertainment from Megam Kottatum Female version, sincerely I thought If you could sing this song shall be wonderful and perfect match since your voice range is very high and you can go deep base without strain. So when I started searching in your Album I saw this you have done already since before I Join Muziboo.
“Wow” its superb as I expected. Very nice, perfect work. Entertaining us well.
My daughter who is doing Bachelor Degree has naturally very base voice and likes more Bombay Jayashri songs since her voice range of span is less.
Thank you so much for good entertainment.
