Nice to see you after a very long time… An untold hiatus, in deed… A brave delivery… About ur write-up, as far as I know Gangai Amaran was also a good musician but got eclipsed by his brother’s presence… Nice control of the song and u were in the driver’s seat… However felt there were some extra vibratos infused unconsciously… And some sustains could have been better…. Having nitpicked these, a real tough song to bring that mood as given by Shri SPB and you have carried it very well…. Different to listen… :-) Wish u stayed active here….

Very nice sowmya.Loved it in your voice.But expected little more smile in the words like
‘naanum neeyum naaLai dhan maalai soodalaam’,viraghamo thaabamo,the whole song was pathos,in my opinion.In the beginning neelavana odayil,you missed the beat and
neendhugindra veNNila,giNdra the depth part could be heard very less.But overall a
good attempt.Appreciate you rendering a difficult male song.All the best.

Unusual rendition but it is usual with you. :-) Abheri-nnu blanket-aaga solla mudiyathu IMO. Parts of it may feel like it is conforming to the scale. But we can call it a generic and light treatment in a minor scale.

This song I so adore. Who does not? Antha saami vaanthu paadiya paadal.I checked SPB singing this in a Kamal’s show. Enna grace….

I am stupefied with your renditions as well :) oru challenging renditions you pick and belt em. Adithi is the one other there is yet another lovely singer soon will grace this pace….a contrast the sunshine and the moonlight ….mmm how do u girls do this?

No really asking you ? Whats the magic word? What drives you and how much practice goes into it or do you at all?

Initial humm going down the scale…wondered how it will sound if you sang in your original scale? Can you please
