Sowmya : I absolutely agree with Aravind – I was smiling all way !! kalakkateenga ! bassy voice la romba nalla irukku.

That actually tells me something about your voice. You have been choosing songs which make you shout in high notes all the time. Your bassy voice has more elegance and I believe you should sing songs which are slightly lower in scale than you normally do. And that means dont try too many Janaki songs ! Susheela songs try paNNi paarungaLEn.

I should have probably explained a bit. In many songs, when you go to high notes you have a tendency to open up full throated. In fact, almost everybody sings at a high volume in high registers, but I believe it is imperative that the singer has an appropriate volume modulation even in high registers. The best way I may communicate this is through voice chat sometime. We shall try to catch up sometime.

Great work is done by people who are not afraid to be great…… First of all, hats off to u for being bold enough to take up this song and imitate it. the whole 3 mins is full of fun and jus laughed out loud forgetting the world around me. i really wonder whether you are going to come up with a spanish or a chinese song……… you are such a versatile singer and can get on in to any kinda song. its nice that you dont confine urself to just classical singing. Excellent! brilliant!!!

Very good control…. I was almost lying on the floor laughing…. More to the fact the way it was sung & secondly I didnot understand a single word which was making it more funny….Specially where something ‘Pottu which something something’ Hey please don’t mind I don’t know this language….
