Sowmya – what a beautiful song this is! thanks for singing this. agree with you that the track and the mixing could have been better, but very sweetly sung all through.My Tamil diction is not at all great , but felt that some of the words need a bit more open mouthing, if you know what i mean. Nevertheless – 5/5!

Hi Sowmya,

Very nice rendition of an evergreen song, which is not easy to sing!. I think your version is very commendable.

I felt that when you hit the high notes it tends to get a bit sharp and a bit unnatural. Also when you were trying to do minor variations from the original they were nice but would have liked it to be more “brightly confident”. I know that some of these words seem a bit vague, but I have no other way of putting it without going into great detail!.

Good rendition, but I felt somehow that you may have rushed it a bit in your usual enthu fashion!. Certainly credit is due for your spontaneity … you are a very quick singer I know that.

Sowmya! romba azhagaana paatu…gud selection… azhaga padirukkenga…you are right on track at all difficult turns in the song….some improvement needs to be done in the recording though…you will sound to your full potential then :)

Good job Sowmya. But for some shake (nadukkam) in your voice, neat rendition. Good note-precision and very good breath control which I envy! :)
And I can’t stop comparing this voice with the voice in namma ooru singaari and smiling :)

Sowmya, most welcome! What I meant by “shake” is the following: notice your line endings: EdhEdho eNNam vaLarthaen- the ‘aen’ in the end of “vaLarthaen”, same with the end of “koduththaen” in the next line: it could be held more “taut” and stable there. But its kinda wavy and a little unstable.

nice voice sowmiya… yu should hav used a better recording to tune ur voice output… there’s a slight pitch difference in “PAN PAADUM PAADAGAN NEEYE”… anyhow its luks similar to the old.,. come up!
