Sowmya … when did you steal my time machine!?. Like a pendulum swinging back and forth in perfect harmony with itself … your voice shows the ways of this song and although not totally crystal clear, I enjoyed it and you have sung very well. Little bursts of wind have caused the pendulum to just jitter momentarily, but soon to recover in balance!.
Look forward to more Sowmya. Always liked the expression that you give in your songs. Cheers.

Sowmya – after your namma ooru singari mimic it was not hard to guess the male(!!?)singer :))))
Not familiar with the song, but thought it to be well sung by you. Not sure if it was a problem when i played it, the song ended abruptly. You may want to check that out.

Oh wow !
This is one of my all time favorite songs. For some reason I cannot find a clear recording of the original.
Your rendition is great. I agree that the recording could be better, but feels like a good effort was made while singing and it shows.
Points for improvement…. 1) The tempo is good and the notes are as in the original. One departure from the original is in the way Chitra seems to have sung it. She seems to reach the highs and lows quicker and makes the song feel “crispier”…. 2) The song seems to end abruptly….
Would be nice to hear a new recording of this….
… a fav….

The language is foreign to me, Sowmya but I enjoyed every bit of your singing and the song itself too. It is clearly evident that you are are very good singer and for that there’s no need to understand the language. Music speaks for itself.

Sowmya…Sorry for being late here….
I am not familiar with this song , in fact hearing it for the first time. Liked your rendition. You sounded quite like Vani Jairam. Very enjoyable … Ending it abruptly at “nimmathi” was a bit unpleasant…
All the best…
