Here is Navneet’s attempt at the same. Pulled this one off quite neatly. I must say last three songs end the long reign of Gibson Guitarist on Muziboo music scene :P

This was great stuff.simply awesome.Seems like Navneet is really good..is he going to join Muziboo sometime soon ? if he does then we could directly interact with him as well and probably ask questions about his tone and stuff like i did earlier.
Meanwile, i m sure you must’ve been excited a lot when he did the cover but maybe its not right on your part to say “end the reign of Gibson” ..i mean i personally dont think he ever tried to prove a point saying he is the best..
lets put it this way..i went for a Megadeth show around 5 months back they had Glenn Dover as their leed guitarist..that same night by pure fate..Gibson sent me the track of Holy Wars..which was definitely a zillion times better than what Glenn Dover played himself..and i think i never told Gibson that..and well Gibson in my opinion is definitely the most versatile guitarist because he does so much homework..he probably spends close to 2 months just researching what tone and what guitars the guitarist used and after that he learns how to play that song..and u know he’s encompasssed way too many genres..rock , metal , blues everything i can think of and then offcourse the tons of collaborations he has done with other musicians on muziboo
Music is all about versatility..the bassist has to support the drummer..the guitarist has to support the vocalist..so its all about team work..now i am not trying to be hard on you at all but what i m saying is we have to support each other u know ..encourage each other..when we talk about competition..talk about competing at a global level ..i mean as indians and as musicians we shud support each other no matter how good we are and no matter how bad we are ..
so thats about it :) i guess you shud do a G3 kind of thingy ..i can make the backing track and lets have dual leeds by Gibson and Navneet..trust me that would be a real treat to the metal ear on Muziboo !

hey man you took my comments a bit too serious, it was just written for the sake of raising an alarm for GG, he doesn’t seems to be uploading much nowadays.
And yes GG is a more versatile player as compared to Navneet, no doubt about it.
Meanwhile I was also that night at the megadeth show in bangalore…..are you talking abt bangalore or states?

I was referring to a Megadeth concert here in the States bro. i ve seen Mustaine like 8 – 10 times already ! anyways ..as Shashank once rightly told me..i usually have a full blown conversation on the song thread..lol..hence the song goes up the charts and he actually referred to it as “song fixing” !!! lol ..hehe it still cracks me up

you know once 4 years ago..i met John Petrucci outside his Hotel at 11 pm at nite after the G3 concert..he thought i was “stalking” him
after the concert was over..me and a bunch of guys followed the whole band to the hotel..i was standing in the rain chatting with a bald dude..and his son…his name “Jordan Rudess”
we then followed them to the hotel and i begged Petrucci to let me come to his studio/guitar lesson god knows what all and all he kept saying is “No ! No ! No ! ” lol ..but i did manage to get an autograph !

Wow!!!! This is fab.. Dream Theater is my fav group and Navneet have covered Petrucci brilliantly.
HOWEVER …... GIBSON GUITARIST STILL RULES !!!!

this is really good man. :) i first heard this song in a DT live where petrucci would play this song to demonstrate the chromatic riff run in the intro. overall very good :) keep up the good work guys.
i hear ya sudeip. glen dover was not in my likes anyway :). i never even seen him as a megadeth guy. the new one, chris broderick, is an awesome player!
