A beautiful duet from the film “Abhimaan” composed by the legendary S.D.Burman is my next choice of song. And I could’nt think of a better choice than NVK Sir for rendering the male vocals. Thank u so much Sir, for singing this with me and also mixing it! U have done an amazing job as usual and it was a learning experience for me.

Dear Smitha & NVK Sir, perfect & peerless rendition. Enjoyed it thoroughly. NVK Sir sounded exactly like Rafi, Smitha could have amplified your voice a little bit, but your performance was also great. 5/5 from me. God bless.

NVK sir – I wont say it was perfect, the initial humming was slighlty messed up, probably some cliping or distortion happened during mixing……Overall good singing, dictions issues……Its Chamke, not Chhhamke, Jhumka not JHHUmka……TAARA and ANGAARA needed some more modulations…….KANGANA should have been abrupt….there is very nice expressions in the original on KANGGANA by Rafi saab….more expressions needed in “aye haye”
Rafi sahab’s voice throw is considered “the best” in bollywood industry even now. Singers like us should study how he sings “aye hye”. Voice throw there is very clear and precise! “Thumak thumak” he sings as if the thumkas are tickling him so much and he is trying to suppress his giggles of joy!
Smitha – Good singing overall, high notes could have been better……What happ at high notes, sounded shrill at times……
Overally I enjoyed, I have sung the same song and can say its not very easy….But NVK sir, u did a far better job than what i did in mine……
Loved it guys, keep it up……

Smitha, Felt you were sumwat trying to imitate Lata ji… your singing is superb, no doubt… but your voice sounded false… it wud be better if u sing in ur own unique style…

NVK sir and Smitha ….very beautiful indeed rendition of a classic song. Very expressive singing. I should say one of the best covers of this song, I have heard till now.
Mixing wise, I felt that at some places the audio was clipping ….otherwise awesome job singing this.

I was not trying to imitate Lataji deliberately but was trying to copy her expressions because I always have to struggle to get them right :-) Also the high notes were difficult to reach! Smitha: Nicely done. Slight pitching issues were felt (e.g. sajanu nindhiya, stanza I) Your expressions were very good.

NVK Sir and Smitha, Verrrrrrrry beautifully sung… I m already a big fan of both of you… Singing wise it is perfect according to me…. mixing wise I felt that smitha’s voice had a little more echo (or delay) added. BTW it is aye haaye jo aaj pata chala muze :) till today I thought it was haay haay :) Full marks from me :)

Very good rendition by both of you.
NVK, very good singing but felt you can do better with feel. Overall it was a very good performance.
Smitha, you have sung very well. Some lines could be better for eg. Sajan Tumkha – Mere jhumkha re.
Mixing could be better – felt that Smitha’s vocals are a bit too sharp.

NVK sir and Smitha, great song choice and beautiful execution. The melody was free-flowing and my senses were very well engaged….Both had great vocal expression….Smitha, I thought, u were a little nasal and cautious in the beginning at places (which is ok) but it did make you voice a little pitchy.
Overall beautiful rendition….Keep singing and entertaining…. :)

NVK sir you were SUPERB as usual, very good rendition. Smitha you have a nice young voice. I thought the pitch was little high for you. Your struggled a bit in higher registers. Overall a very good job by both of you.
