Smitha: Your recording sounds way better compared to your recent ones. Nice vocals there.

Soumitra: Your voice sounds so different in this. Beautiful harmonies although felt those seconds ( both of yours although Smitha’s is not that loud) could be a trifle lower in amplitude. Serene ending !!

Also, seemed like both of you were a little slow in keeping up with the rhythm, just a trifle though.

great song, great singing by both of u….but i dint understand why there was so much lag in both ur vocals……did u not sync it properly with the track…….the whole song is kinda off beat….just a tad…….more to do with the taal rather than sur……was very distracting……

Soumitra – landing notes could have been better……when u go high and come down, sometimes dint see the same finesse in the antaras……

neways overlooking that TAAL fact, u guys did very well……

The track was disappointing….dint like it very much…….

Smitha – The recording kit is working and working great :-) Nice expressions and control.

The vocal track has a little timing/alignment issue with the karaoke track by a few milliseconds. I could be wrong though.

Beautifully done guys. Both of you have done a fab job on this. With that said, I echo Meera’s points on harmony levels and timing (at times). Smitha, I felt you were a little nasaly at times. You have to watch out for that. And the other point I told you sometime back (staccato).

Theres no question about the recording Smitha. A million times better!

Smitha and Soumitra ….very good singing ….the harmonies were good. Smitha looks like you are pretty set with the new recording gear …loved your voice. Soumitra ….you sound good as usual….but you get to become a little nasal when you hit the high notes ….just try to work on that ….great job overall. Also felt some sync issues ….overall a very pleasant rendition.

Not a great fan of the song, but nice rendition, both of you. Smitha, felt you were very slightly off pitch in some places…. sweet voice though, even better now with your new recording equipment :)

Very well sung both of you…smitha, congrats on the new recording gear, the clarity is really good. Your voice is being projected so well in this. As all have pointed out, there seems to be a lag in the vocals though, is there any way you can correct that? Except for that, this was Aaaawesome !

In the beginning I did notice a ‘very slight’ lag in both of your voices. That does not hurt the beauty of the song much though.

Soumithra, you sound very different in this song man, i like your open throated singing and your expressions. Way to go bro…

Smitha, you were pretty good, especially when you sang those harmonies, and your expressions were also good, but keep an eye on that nasal influences it happens more when you try to add extra feel to a particular lyric. May be something to do with the way you mix it.

Overall a very good job guys, keep up the good work.

I came back to hear the song again after long days work…thanks for this wonderful song!

…. saw the comments….I see a valid point in AJ’s comments, A minor issue with the’quantization’ is there in the mix… ……the reasons might be….

1)Can you check if there is a ‘Zero error’ for the vocal and Karaoke files ‘start point’ while you mixed….
2)Was the track adjusted for the speed or pitch? This will spoil the RPM of the track many times….

Excellent, nice expressions both of you. Somehow I guess the track had some timing issue. Wonderful rendition by both of you!

Smitha, you sounded great! But at few places, I felt that voice was shaky! Your recording has improved a lot. Someplaces sounded nasal, Overall you were awesome! Loved your expressions in, “Oh Mahiya.”

Soumitra, you were awesome. Nice expressions! Some places like “Hey Khoobsurat hai pal” – I felt a bit nasal in the high pitch.

Very very well sung…. sounds very different and fresh…. emotions and expressions have come out very well…… great modulations, too….

and somehow… i really do not see any timing issues in this song…. every word of the song, falls perfectly in the beats…. the ones that don’t, i think aren’t meant to…. i have heard this song (the original, i mean) some 10,000 times maybe…… SRK being my fav…… so i kind of know the intricacies of it…. and trust me, you guys have pulled off a very very neat job….
