Beautiful selection of song, and good voices to match it…. :) Enjoyed the rendition a lot, Smitha and Dips…
Dips – very well done! diction needs a little more perfection… :) just one or two words…and I think the ‘Silvatein kahin’ was a tad pitchy. But loved your controlled energy and the feel was very nice….
Smitha – lovely singing and nice feel. there was an extra bounce in the singing, which dimmed the feather light flow by a small degree, but your naturally sweet tone made up much for it. Not sure, but I think the ‘magar iss tarah’ was lightly pitchy…I may be wrong here…
Oh, and loved the last ‘Hum Tum’ humming!!

I can’t control myself from saying that there are a fewwww very minor pitching issuessss…… It is difficult pitching on these types of songs….since it is a slow paced song. No issues as such… Plzzzzz don;t mind…… main hamesha dil ki baat rakh deta hoon… Mujhe villian mat samjhiyega………. Hope u don’t mind………….

Good song choice but singing wise it could have been a lot lot better……

Deepesh, u need to put some more expressions in ur delivery. Its a soft number but hear Babul Supriyo closely….His rendition is smooth with open throat with apt expressions……Yours was more like mumbling of words without opening ur mouth for correct punch in words……This is what I honestly felt….

Smitha – I can hear u trying hard to get it right, but when there is so much effort, things go a bit haywire……The initial humming could have been a lot better and I know u can pitch it perfectly as you have done in the past if u practice more……Singing wise it was on and off at times……

But the bonus is, that u both have amazing voices….Some more effort in the right direction would make this rendition special……

Overall, I liked it.

One of my favorite movies/songs. Smitha : Nice rendition but there is some room for improvement though. For e.g. the curve on “ham…ham tum” On the first ham, please watch for Alka’s voice modulation. It has a subtle but beautiful upward curve to it.
