As Harshan put it this is another form of Mar Jawan. Don’t know if Salim Sulaiman was trying to do a la Ouseppachan by doing all songs with the same mood in the film :) Not an outstanding composition by S.S standards. Even Mar Jawan though a great hit, was very similar to Vaseegara the Harris Jayaraj hit of 2000.
George you were awesome as usual with commanding and free flowing pro vocals! Smitha, though you kept the mood of the song very well and were outstanding at parts, was also shaky at few places with regards to pitching. But that does not take away the overall effect that you guys produced. Mixing was also superb! 5/5.

George, this range is awesome for you, contrary to popular opinion that you are at your best at real higher registers. I agree with that as well, but your vocals are just a delight in this song. Standing ovation, and probably one of your best in the emoting depts….

Smitha, very nice, although you sounded a little nasal compared to your last few uploads! I would have personally preferred a little more emotion, but hey… doesn’t take anything away from the awesome effort!

Smitha – Singing wise, no issues… I am used to listen to the original version (so bit biased) where the female lead has lot of huskiness in her voice……IMHO your version sounded bit sharp to me……

Meera – Regarding the range, somehow I have a comfort factor with Mohit Chauhan songs. It just seems to work every time.

Harry – I am glad you like the mixes now. I havent really changed anything with regards to setup. However I have been experimenting more with effects etc. Maybe thats the difference.

Beautiful presentation guys…. Simply great…. Very good singing George & Smitha…. Agree with kuhoo…. Have a small observation for George though…. The word ‘Hai’ sounds ‘Hey’ in every songs that you have covered…. Take Care…. very small issue though…. As for Smitha….good to hear her too after a long time…. Agree with a lil shakyness but thats bound to happen when recovering from a bad throat…. :D
Overall a damn sure 5…. :) Keep it up guys….

If I am allowed to nitpick, Smitha, I somewhat agree with Meera. At some places, little nasal, and a few slightly off (very minor though).
George, you sound amazing in this… very modern voice. Just too nice. May be if Salim Sulaiman listen to this, they might want to rerelease the song in your voice. Not kiddin, its that good!

i like this song and love both the vocalist’s voice too…….Great team coming together……

George – a very good attempt to this song. U seem to follow MC’s songs a lot as it was clearly evident in this one and also with the earlier one you covered (Is this love). Your vocals were sounding exactly like him which is a positive as well as negative. But no worries, the style u have adapted for this cover is indeed applaudable (not sure if this is a word, but who cares:)).

Smitha – u know i love ur voice but there seems to be some problem. Sounded way too sharp to me. Probably u just getting over ur cold:) apart from that, u did a commendable job. Could have been better if ur voice helped u a bit more.
