My dear all……
First time i am presenting a live song done by me – “Pularithoomanju Thulliyil” from the movie “Ulsavapittennu” directed by Bharath Gopi. It is written by Kavaalam Naraayana Panicker sir & composed by the one & only G.Devarajan Master. I feel very happy that i got a chance to sing this………
Yesterday i have gone to Babji’s business place for a personal visit. There he was arranging an entertainment programme for his office staffs at lunch interval. It was in a small hall at the corner of his office. Some of them have performed mimics , skits etc. In return , they have asked Babji (N.M.Babu) & me to sing for them. Suddenly Babji arranged everything there & asked me to start the “Karaoke Ganamela”…….As i was not having k-tracks with me , Babji suggested me this particular song from his favourite collection. But myself denied it on the spot as i have not heard this song anywhere recently , though i am familiar with it in the past. Babji & others were really adamant to give a try as it is not a competition. For my wonder , i got a big clap after the song but i was not at all satisfied as there were lot lot lot of problems in the song as i didn’t got a chance to hear the original before my try. After my song , we have gone for lunch except Babji. He told that he will come after checking his personal mails. When i come back after having lunch , i have seen that he was mixing my song & infact , then only i came to know that Babji had recorded it with adobe & it was a planned murder from his side. Within a short span of time , he mixed it & played through his beautiful speakers (professional setup). I loved the way he mixed it but not my song at all……………It is not fair to talk about Babji’s mixing in detail COZ NOW A DAYS NOBODY WILL TELL THAT KJY IS A GIFTED SINGER , MAMMOOTTY IS A GREAT ACTOR , JACKIECHAN IS A GREAT FIGHTER , SACHIN TENDULKAR IS A GREAT CRICKET PLAYER ETC AS THOSE ARE THE GENERAL FACTS…….Likewise , nothing to tell about Babji than hearing his works with enthusiastic approach…….
Infact Babji was planning it before few days to make me sing this song as “Charukesi” is his all time favourite raaga. He loves this raaga the best & follows all songs made in the same , with great spirit……So i dedicate this song to Babji as a gift for his belated birth day & Adhithi akka for her 11th wedding anniversary……….
First time , i am experiencing such a way of recording (live + mixing after that) & kindly forgive me for all the errors in it as it was a work like “2 minutes noodles”…….Kindly do leave your valuable comments………

Suresh, good song. In the charanams you have, in a few portions deviated off the scale of the song and its raaga(charukesi). A bit more homework required for these kind of songs. Congrats for the nice attempt!
