Good selection and nice tribute to Kamal. Very good singing srini. And I wonder how brilliant is IR’s composition with the kambu veechu sound.

For the 92 National awards, ARR got one vote advantage for ‘chinna chinna aasai’ over IR (for thevarmagan songs), and you know who gave that extra vote. Balu Mahendra, who had used only IR’s music for his films, and he’s the chairperson of the jury who got extra voting power. what an irony.

Outstanding Performance shrini……this is simply your best in terms of singing, voice modulations and expressions …….just Mindblowing effortless singing. The mix was superb ……with the right amount of projection of your vocals and very little reverb….way to go:-)

Just loved all songs in this movie. This song is a very special one with Balu and Kamal(two brothers as Kamal once referred to them as one soul with two bodies)

Yethana sangathis starting from Pottu…you have brought out the real color and spirit of the song here. I also love the way your pronounce/diction very clear.
