With the sad demise of Dev Anand yesterday, an era has come to an end. Dev saab had a never-die spirit and remained an eternal romantic personality.
Dev Anand had a great ear for music and his ties with Sachin Dev Burman and later on with R D Burman produced such unforgettables, like “Hum bekhudi mein”, “Din dhal jaye”, “Dil ka bhanwar kahe pukar”, Tu kahan yeh bata", “Yeh Dil na hota bechara”, “Phoolon ke rang se” with SDB and “Phoolon Ka Taaron ka”, “Kanchi Re kanchi re”, “Main tasveer utarta hoon”, etc. with R D Burman, to name a few.
His other movies with a feastful musical hits include songs from Des Pardes, Lootmaar, Jaaneman, Johny Mera Naam, Duniya, Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai, Prem Pujari, Tere Mere Sapne, etc., etc. The list is endless.
The movie “Guide” from which this song “Tere mere sapne” I have sung here, is regarded as one of the landmark movies in Indian cinema. The movie had several other hit songs like “Kaanton se kheench ke yeh aanchal”, “Gaata rahe mera dil”, “Kya se kya ho gaya” and last but not the least “Piya tose naina laage re”.
This is my tribute to this great personality, also known as Gregory Peck of Indian cinema. Please listen at your leisure.

Shailender Bhai tribute deite waqt aur bhi achhi presentation honi chahiye. Pehli cheez track ki Bass sound kanon per bhari padi doosri lafz Phol ko Fool gana. Ye dono cheezein aapke full control main theen. Awaz aur gaeyki aapki achhi hai mamooli baton per dhiyan se aur bhi nikhar sakti hai.
