I am not sure if there is anyone, who hasn’t heard this song. I will vouch that this was one of best produced songs by O.P.Nayyar and Mohd. Rafi combination and makes a real pleasure to listen. Adding on to the shine is great portrayal of the song on Mala Sinha and Tanuja, while Dharmendra is on the piano.
Venturing on this song was a real challenge. This song is a great test of one’s sur, taal, masti and adayagi all combined together. I am not sure how much I have been able to reach all those levels, but I have sung it to the best of my ability.
You will find small variations from the original, which is but obvious because I am not Rafi saab. I have also tried to take harkats which I normally don’t take while singing. Some of them may not be right, but all the same I have given it a try.

I loved your harkats,modulations and also the mood you infused into your singing……bahut nashile mood mein gaya aapne. There were slight imperfections, but it happens to everyone of us….All in all I would rate this is as one of your best uploads………….to my favourites. Bahut hi Sukoon ke saath gaya aapne….LOVED IT.

Very soothing rendition, Shailender, and had that lazy Rafi-style throw which you captured really nicely. Listening to this song after ages – feeling old! :-) Some landing glides could be better at few spots, but 3rd antara was awesome. Absolutely loved your voice in this!

shailu bhai, you set up the mood beautifully in this song. very nasheeli :) i understand some missed harkat and modulations. after all were are not pro! a few errors (in coying the original tune) have crept in. Example, at the end of second stanza in “Shabab Aap Kaa”, the “Kaa” has to plummet down as pushed down from the cliff :)
