L.A. Woman (Cover)

L.A. Woman (Cover) Lyrics & Chords

This is our Ensemble band’s cover of The Doors tune “L.A. Woman”. We took some liberties with it in order to shorten it and cut out keyboard solo parts. The mix is also not the greatest as you can barely hear the bass, which is thumping in the original. Still, I (we) had a lot of fun playing it and the crowd certainly enjoyed it.

Please leave constructive feedback for improvement. Thanks!

This cover is quite tight Sandeep. Good job! With regards to the leads, I felt some timing issues. The vocalist is terrific! He has a very nice tone. I agree about the bass line. It can hardly be heard. But overall I enjoyed this. 5/5

We didn’t practice this one as much as the other tunes and almost cut it coming into the gig. But we decided to go for it anyway and it turned out to be a crowd pleaser. Regards timing, yes, this song has twists and turns, so we’ve got to get those sync’d up.

Thanks for your feedback!

Yeah, Great stuff. Vocals were certeinly great.
Agree with George, there are some timing issues with the guitar, but not too bad. Guitars could do some more improvisation. Its largely an one chord song – so lots of scope.
Keep it coming, Sandeep!

Life’s a lot like jazz…. its best when you improvise!

In spite of the missing the bass track, it sounds good. For some reasons the singer reminds me of Mark Knopfler.
