Raaja sir today is celebrating his 67th birthday and its so fulfilling to do this dedication. “kadalil oru thuli pola” myself along with Subhashini like many other Raja fanatics in this world would like wish him a very happy birthday. Maestro he is called for a reason and thank you raaja sir for giving us a blissful experience everytime we listen to you ! Long live Raaja sir and Long live Raajaangam.
This is my first song with Subhashini a fellow Raaja devotee and it gives me great pleasure doing this with her. She has just absolutely breezed through this song with ease and i just enjoyed hearing her when the final version was out. Thanks a lot subha for doing this with me and i hope this is the first of many !
Meera Manohar has done the mix for this song. I on behalf of subha can’t thank her enough. I was so nervous even approaching her if she could mixdown this song for us but she was so calm and with no real fuss she said “I ll do it for you guys !”. She had to bear with all the amateurish things that we did. I think she has added an extra dimension to my voice in this song which is quite different from all of my other songs and i really loved it. With harmonies in this song who better than meera herself doing the mixing ! cudn’t ask for more ! Thanks meera its a pleasure collaborating first time with you. Thanks for doing this inspite of your busy schedule and really appreciate you helping us !
Raaja sir’s music can actually do magic ! :D A real scenario where a Jobless bachelor (me :D) who takes life as it comes can actually collaborate with organised most talented mature family persons like meera, Subha lolZ.
Finally, Tried harmonies for the first time in this song and would like to thank Adithi for brainstorming with me and enlightening me with the way it works. For what took me the whole night took her just 10 mins :D
phew ! Just realized the write-up is bigger than Raj anna’s perhaps :P lolz ! Inspired by Raj maybe :D

First highlight – excellent work on harmonics, and brilliant mixing Meera!
Subha – you captured the song with the very first note….:) sooo happy listening to the rendition! and liked the Lalala part….very nicely done. And your diction and lilts in the charanams were so enjoyable Subha….
Balaji – Onakku IR’-double’nu paeru vekkalama, illa Kamal-double’nu paeru vekkalama? decide panni sollu. :)))) Very good singing. Oru madhiri control panni padirka….andha ‘Adi Ammadi’ lines’la innum konjam opena irukkalamo’nu feeling, but nothing that leaves a listener missing something…. :)
Nalla dedication…. :) and I am a contended listener!
