This is a popular melody with a tinge of classical touch. The composition was done by the legendary M.Ranga Rao who brought to us numerous wonderful tunes in Kannada.
The lyrics for this song were penned by none other than the doyen of Kannada literature Kuppali Venkatappagowda Puttappa popularly known to us by his pen name, Kuvempu. Kuvempu was honored with several awards throughout his career including the prestigious Jnanpith Award in 1967. Kuvempu gave us a treasure of short stories, poems, biographies, plays and novels.
This is my tribute to Kuvempu.
This is the first time I have experimented to cover two singers in one song. Take a listen and enjoy.

Liked the composition and the “duet effect” was a wonderful idea. I could tell that you sounded different-giving the illusion of two singers.
I do not understand Kannada and would like to leave the detailed input to others, but you gave me a chance to look up “Kuvempu” (Dec. 29, 1904-Nov.11, 1994).
