Long time ago when I first watched the movie “Roja”, there was one moment in the film that struck me most and lasted in my memory. A moment of fusion of romantic mood, scenery and music in the backdrop of the magnanimous snow clad Himalayan mountain ranges. Watching this movie on a 70mm screen and in an A/C theatre back then was for me, like watching the Himalyas “live” :) The music scored by Rahman for this song has set his place in the film world as a brilliant music director for decades to come.
I am proud to present this song with Kaushick. Kaushick is a versatile and talented singer and my respect for Kaushick and his singing has doubled as we worked on this project. I love Tamil language and like to sing more numbers in Tamil and I am so grateful to Kaushick for encouraging and helping me patiently with the lyrics and subtle pronunciation tips. Tamilians, please excuse me for any other diction issues that may have crept in. I am learning slowly :)
The K track we sang to is not of good quality but our friend Vishnu Mohan kindly agreed to mix this song for us and waved his magic to make it sound good. Myself and Kaushick are extremely thankful to Vishnu for mixing this song so wonderfully and in such a short time. Thank you, Vishnu :)
After some feedback from friends, we have decided to remix this. Since Vishnu’s PC is broken, Raj Kumar Anjan came forward to help us. Thank you Raj very much for doing this :)

Sarada Ji and Kaushick bhai, Great ARR masterpiece pick:) This is probably one of the best creations from ARR.
There is something wrong with the mix. The vocals are lacking clarity. Can be also due to the very bad karaoke. I can see Vishnu did his best to project the vocals but working with such a track can be a nightmare:) The antaras had better clarity and I loved the antara portions very much.
Apart from the mix quality, singing was very very good. Hope you get a chance to mix this one better as the song really deserves it.
Sarada Ji – For a non-tamilian like me, you sound superb:)LOL. You have a stupendous voice:)
Kaushick bhai – Awesome effort by you too. Loved the base in ur voice.

Its really unfortunate to miss relishing the subtleties that stream in both of your voices… Vocals got sunk in the mix due to various reasons… As Vichchu has got some serious troubles with his PC, the end-result did not justify both your calibers… A revisit on mixing will definitely retrieve that magic… Will wait for the remixed version… :)
