Freedom???
Freedom??? Lyrics & Chords
Busy life, makes one’s life hell, but if its being busy with ‘MUSIC’, one can hardly be bored. Me, Sunny, apologize to all the fellow muzibians for my absence on the site. These months have been too hectic for me and so couldn’t help on it. Anyways, here’s the song description:
The terrorists did what they wanted to, now its our turn!! They thought they could get us down with blasts… Well, here is a blast specially designed to destroy the haters!!
A track loaded with extreme drum and bass!! Heard a lot of patriotic songs?? How bout this one?? drum and bass sequenced along with some accompanying news clips and topped up with a special message… Take a listen for yourself… Free yourself, free your mind… Wishing you a happy independence day!!
Note: We were supposed to release “United We Stand” today. However, due to some reasons we have postponed it a little more. It would released in the near future.Apologies.
Credits for voices.
Opening and mid speech and the word ‘Freedom’ is of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. Its cut from his very famous speech right before the Independence day.
Thanks to all the News channels, whose audio clips I used.
Thanks to Deepak for writing a meaningful description of the Song.
Rest all of the vocals are mine. Programmed and mixed by Sunny.
Cheers!!!
Sunny!!!

Not able to comment……May be my lack of knowledge and inability to appreciate this type of music…
I felt like the statement " Saare Jahan se Acha Hindustan Hamara" could be told more boldly….It seemed it was said with lots of fear….Was that the fear of terrorists?

Hey sudeip…. Thanks man. Really been a long time!!!
Shashank, I dint expect you to comment….lol…. I thought u will just say OK or don’t even listen to the full because its not a genre which u listen to. Anyways, I underestimated u… :P Thanks a lot for your comments…
Krishnan ji. I completely understand your view of understanding the track. Its not lack of knowledge, but its just not a genre which u listen to. There are many genres which I even don’t like because I don’t listen them. Regarding ‘Saare Jahan se achcha’, I agree with your point, but I always try to do some unexpected things, thats why ,its husky and like a whisper. Thanks for presenting your view :)
Prem, its nice to see your comments. Thanks for appreciating my work :)
Cheers!!!

Lovely idea – a musical collage!
The beats reminded me of “Shakalaka Baby”.
Very good idea to bring in Saare Jahaan se Acchaa!
But it lacked the “oomph” for some reason. I think the reason could be because the bits are put together wider apart. Try cramming them closer and it will sound beautiful- this is only a suggestion from me!
But great work and expecting more from you soon! :)

Sunny… Nice to see you back in action :-) I thought it was a nice concept. However there is some form of disconnect between the concept and the music. I thought the vocals at the end were different in a good way. But I would almost go in the opposite direction in a theme like this. What I mean is that I would almost shout it out instead of whispering.

Hi Sunny ……First thing, I find this stuff qt. innovative and abstract…I say some kind of “maverick” approach :) Personally I liked it ….your whispering voice v. well suits the kind of music used :)
I somehow feel this can be called as a “musical compilation” of the reports used, best suits a video.
Regarding your apologies: OK…we generous enough to accept them u c ;)

Hey, this is one the coolest tracks I’ve heard in the recent past… Great one!! In fact I’m lucky to have heard this before you could upload this here… Also to have got a chance to speak my mind out in the description part… By the way, I see different views from different people about whispering part… I personally would imagine this to be the final warning to the terrorists… I mean, we have spoken to them enough, we have shouted at them enough… They have come really close to us, that is our cities in the recent past… So here is my whisper to you that you can’t shake us…
Apart from that, from a musical point of view… I guess it suits the track… Yes, we could make some slight changes, may be we will in the near future… However, for now this sounds really cooool… Jai Hind…

Liked the concept …very glad to see someone posting song for Independence Day :) …but I too feel there is a disconnect between the concept and the music….Didn’t feel that “blast” with the drums and bass …:( …Could make a haunting impression if the whispering had little more rage in it …
Listen to the instrumental “Mere Watan” by Zubin in Fiza …composed by Ranjit Barot …That fits to what you wanted to convey …:)
Looking forward to more :)
Cheers,

Hey Thanks Jo And Vishal…
I would just like to write a line again over here about the song description. I donno how I missed it!!!
The song starts with a speech which gives us the feeling of Freedom, but immediately it emerges to the feel of fear, destruction, blasts, communal riots and makes us feel how much free we are. In a news coverage, some politician starts talking about some other political issues and then the news reader had to divert him saying that better if they talk about the blasts and not any other political issues. The song ends up with the motivation that we should be one and not fight with each other, be one and try solvinge other issues like terrorism.
Thanks!!!
