Sema feel and such a sweet tone you got. Off notes were obvious in a couple of places. As amma mentioned, andha opening kanna was a little different than the original. Also charanam la ‘Mugam Parka maruppormun….’ notes kooda konjam differenta irundhudhu, ywt was beautiful. Once again kudos for the excellent feel. To my favs.

all the different sangathi’s in kanna were really good

very expressive charanam…. the too the ending for fisrst charanam is really good and very subtle…. the subtleness adds to the beauty….

the second charanam is also equally good//

all the sangathi are really perfect…… so congrats hamsa.,…. very good job…. i ll give u 8 on 10,,,,,,,,,,,,,, because we always have scope for improvement right?

“Manam paarka maruppor mun padaithaai kanna
Niram paarthu veruppor mun koduthaai kanna” – these lines got to me and opened some old wounds. Amazing lines!

Heartfelt rendition!!! As the song went on, I realized this is an effort that is unmatched:-) Having heard almost 30 songs you posted here and another 100 karaoke tracks, many of them many many times, I think this song is the one that is going to reverberate in my ears :-)

Actually, I stopped going through your songs with this song. I couldn’t go beyond this song at all. I heard it at least 5-6 times, but I couldn’t move to any other song at all :-)

You are right, Kannadasan is the ultimate lyricist. Kannadasan the lyricist was consistently brilliant, but it is the man who interests me the most :-) A flawed genius like Kishore Kumar (who in my humble opinion is the ultimate singer). Both these men never came to terms with their God given talents.
