This is one of the most spectacular of Manna Dey da’s renderings. A “very high” on my favorites list. You have done a very good attempt, and the high pitches were managed quite well too. Please do sing open throated, as Chandra ji has recommended.

Manna Dey is genius when it comes to classical numbers and this happens to be one of his superb song of all times. Tough song to tackle, even for classically trained singers. I admire your enthusiasm to take on such a challenge. As mentioned above, open throated singing should help in bringing this rendition to a higher level. Very humble performance Rajesh Ji. It is very challenging to sing such renowned songs but you did not disappointed because you maintained that humble feel throughout. Sur humare beshak na sajein, woh aksar humare bus main bhi nahi hote laikin adaeygi zaroor sajni chahiye. Lafz Jhoote ko aksar log Joo-Thay ga deite hain jo sahi nahi hai. Pehle bhi aapke ganay ke cause ko appreciate kiya hai ab bhi karta hoon.
