Eternal folk classic of IR, the great – only next to ‘vetti veru vasam’ and ‘anda nilava thaan’… There’s lot of ‘un-doing’ gone into singer’s efforts, un-do any classical training, un-do typical style of singing… but yet there is this ease and fluency in singing such a village number… hands down, who else but for… Legendary S.Janaki bows down

I was surprised to see a k-track for this one, but of course the interludes in this k-track is a nightmare if you have loved the original (you should pay attention to interludes to acknowledge the tragedy :( ) Nevetheless, wanted to try my hands with this folklore, and attempt the village slang through out the song!

I absolutely enjoyed recording this one, hope you do so too listening to it
