This is one of the most difficult Shreya songs. I thought you did quite well most parts. The ending humming could have been better.

Vasanth was brilliant singing KK’s parts.

Revathi/Subbu – I never expected such a sweet-shocker from you within such a short span… Lovely song pick… I concur with your thoughts that this is an ideal candidate for a female solo… Usage of Naresh Iyer’s voice didn’t strike chords in me… Just my opinion… No offense intended… Liked this movie for Surya’s versatile acting skills exhibited in this movie with flamboyance and of course, the love chemistry that dwells on the screen between Surya and Boomika Chawla… :D Happened to watch this only a couple of weeks back… A delicate theme handled with great perfection… A transcendental pick to cover, for a real-life couple… :-)

Innum unnoda ‘Mannippaaya’ spell la irunthaey veLiya varala… AthukkuLLa ippadi oru stunner… :-) Liked the involvement you have showcased in the past few posts of yours… Urugi Urugi paadi irukkaey… At times, it did sound as if you were exceeding the bar-line to impart the ‘feel’… Is that quiver, intentional?? Your biggest plus is that you never tend to imitate the original singer… This cover does have your presence all-through the song with your endemic expressions… Felt you could have delivered that last humming with precision as that ends the song poetically in the original… :-) Asaththalaa paaditta po!!! Kalakkalaa paadi irukka machchi… To be honest, your portions did eclipse Revathi’s… You almost sounded like Naresh, though I am still reluctant about the usage of his voice for this song… Nee start paNra idam – appadiye striking resemblance with that of Naresh’s… Minor offs anganga irunthathu… But too good to listen… nalla mixing… Expecting more lovely duets as this… Somasundaram ground la off-side la six adichcha maathiri paadi irukka… :-)All the best, machchi!!!

Superb song to sing as a couple. Excellently done for such a difficult song. Revathi was awesome barring a few places in sangathis and the ending portion. Otherwise, it is absolutely brillant.

Vasanth —> First time listening to your voice and as good as the original and simply superb. Just as real as Naresh Iyer’s singing.

Very tough song even though it sounds easy, quite difficult to do justice. I know because I sang this song live, last year.
