This song used to be my status message in gmail…when ever I get depressed. When I read those lines especially “பல வேடிக்கை மனிதரைப் போலே – நான் வீழ்வேனென்று நினைத்தாயோ?” I get my ego boosted…
Bharathi talks about himself in many of his poems….some people misunderstand that he was egoistic. up to some extend ego is a self esteem…or self valuation. Bharathi had clear cut idea about himself…but unfortunately no one recognize him during his life…….the world realized and recognized him after his life… How sad…!!
well…
Some how the flow was spontaneous when I thought of making a tune for this song… I guess I have followed the raaga by name Thilang…(correct me if I am wrong)
I have completed the Singing & Tuning in one in strech… infact I was also surprised… what you are listening here is little improvised version in singing….
I think, I have many reasons to post this song here… I am currently undergoing a similar kind of situation which puts me in deep thinking and little depression …Exactly today it happen to be the Warrior Poet’s Birthday…i could feel the things are getting synchronized at one point…:)
