Adwait great rendition as expected ….this song makes me very very nostalgic, takes me back to my childhood days ….during those Black and white TV, the first time I heard the song was when I was like 10 and instantly fell in love with the tune. I was struggling with my Marathi at that point, with time I am able to appreciate the lyrics too….Thanks a ton for accepting my request.

You sang this in your own style ….but really kept the soul alive. More farmahish will come in future :)

Dear Adwait,thanks for responding me,2 mths back i asked same question to rafians74 site from where i downloaded the song and got same reply as you have said,i am collecting other details from Ajit Pradhan of Dombivili,compiler of Rafisaheb’s geetkosh and who is my good friend.Adwait i am retired bank manager and lover of old hindi film music,i have written articles on playback singers and music directors,though i like all singers ,rafisaheb is my weak point,every year on30th july i arrange video show of rafisaheb’s very very rare songs on big screen at my native place nagpur where i settled.recently i downloaded rafisaheb’s bhaktigeet from old film sant janabai 1949,if possible listen the song ‘hari paar lagavanhare hai’in rafisaheb’s voice having divine shade and enjoy satsang.
