friends, i was the privileged one who had a preview of this song before its worldwide release here on muziboo. an honour adwait unilaterally bestowed on me for sharing the k-track.

so when on sunday night (past midnight) while I was working on a project, i received this mail from adwait with a request to ‘preview and offer valuable advice’. my first reaction was to request 2 days from him as i was already running late for a tuesday deadline, and I wanted to do ‘justice’. But then I could not resist, and decided to download and listen anyway. while my slow internet connection was taking some time, I decided to listen to Rafisaab’s original song to ‘freshen up’ the tune in my mind. And then I was ready to listen to adwait’s rendition. what followed was the realisation that this was not only adwait’s best, but perhaps the best cover of any Rafi saab’s song on Muziboo. In the meantime adwait also wanted to wait for a couple of days to release this. But I am glad to say that my feedback to adwait resulted in his immediate release of this wonderfully sung song!
