MUSIC IS BEAUTIFUL AND A THING OF BEAUTY IS JOY FOR EVER!!
I enjoy singing. Music is my passion. I love Indian light and classical music alike. In fact any music that sounds sweet is great. I enjoy Marathi Bhavgeet, Hindi film songs and any thing good coming my way regardless of the language.
The most liked singers are many including Lata ji, Asha ji, Mohd. Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Sonu Nigam, Sudhir Phadke, Arun Date, Shridhar Phadke, Manna Dey, Mukesh, Mahendra Kapoor, Talat Mehmood, Ghulam Ali, Mehdi Hasan….the list is endless!
Madan Mohan, PanchamDa and Hridaynath Mangeshkar are my most favourite MDs and GADIMAA (G. D. Madgulkar) the most favourite poet….
I have some inherited understanding of Hindustani classical that I have grown up listening to. Haven’t learnt formally, though. From my childhood, I enjoy singing melodious and well written, expressive songs.
I am an Engineer by profession in Oil&Gas sector, working in Doha, Qatar.
