Good job Ramya. Not familiar with the song, but sounded pretty tough with all kinds of twists and turns; some patches did sound pitchy to me though.

I knew very well how u have been persevering in attempting this song and am a real glad one to see this shelling out as I wished. I am dull-witted when it comes to listening to the flaws and offs in a rendition. I salute your effort for covering such a song of a tongue-twisting and tricky language. And am really happy that you have released the clutches you had on classical music. Think you have enjoyed yourself much in rendering this. And you have accomplished in your first run; but still long way to go. I don’t mind those off-notes as far as I stay just as a listener not messing up things as a singer myself. A piece of sound if deemed fit to emanate something from the heart and fill your soul with joy and of course fill your bowels if not have had anything is a good music. And next thing u would look upon is the scale that u missed out as the pointers threw in here, I guess. All the best for ur future renditions. You are a damn good listener and hope u listen to ur renditions for atleast a few times before u upload here. ;-) Just a suggestion to avoid those pointers. But am really really really happy that this song has come with the flamboyancy and the expressions it demands. I could mute ur voice and see urself pantomiming the song. Lol just kidded.

Beautifully sung, Ramya…. you have a bit of a husky voice in this song, which is very appealing… singing in a language you don’t know is actually very tough…. but you sang quite effortlessly… am sure you put in a lott of effort behind this, and it definitely has shown its fruits…. a little bit of offs here-n-there, i guess, are because of the fact that while singing you had to keep in mind the word, the tune and even the pronunciation, not to forget the expression…. and this, is very tough when singing in a language we do not know…. but the murkis are really very well done….
