Nice rendition … but too laid back in my opinion and the words were not entirely clear, may be its the recording … may be the effects seem to be muffling the words a bit. Please check that Ramya.

You have a nice voice which is capable of much more I feel … there is minor loss of smooth note ttransition in places which can be improved.

Very good singing but the recording and mixing has not captured your full potential unfortunately. BGM volume could be reduced. Some spots could be improved – Udhirattume in the first charanam for e.g. Keep singing and sharing.

Very nicely rendered Ramya.
The only problem is that the orchestra seems to be in the front and your vocals buried behind. Reducing the reverb and increasing your vocals would make your voice prominent.
Singingiwise, you have captured the huskiness in the original song very well. Great job!

Good job Ramya, liked your laid back singing, mixing could have been better, track volume levels were too high, which actualy hampered the effect of your voice. Nice gamakas/sangathis though….

nice renderation and the song is perfectly imitated as sung by sudha raghu. But I feel that you were very conscious about the pitch and other aspects and that was disturbing your renderation in some parts (particularly in charanam). I know least about mixing aspects. I could say that you have done justice to the song. Keep it up.

All things have already been said and don’t think I have any to add. Unfortunately, the chords is just a drag in the BG, with no appropriate progression whatsoever, but then not much you can do about it :-)

Good song pick for your voice. You have a nice voice, and should post more.

Well sung Ramya. I thought the mix had some issues… I think the k track wasnt gr8 and the equalization on your vocal track was not good. I think it could be made sharper. But the singing was good!! 5/5

It is difficult to evaluate this song because :

1. The tune itself is nothing great to rave about and the orchestration is paleolithic.

2. Sudha’s singing itself is flat and lifeless (I had to pinch myself to ensure I read the credentials right)

Thaamarai was the only saving grace. anal mElE panithuLi / uRakkangaL uRaipani – beautiful lines.

If I say you have kept yourself in line with original, I don’t know if it would be taken as a compliment.

First i wanted to appreciate your initiative to select this song as in some places it is very difficult to keep up the breathe….and u very well managed to sing it very nicely and sharply….I liked ur rendition….the feel in ur voice is really fresh….The only thing is that u r lacking in some places as u r singing very slow in some places….just i told what i concentrated….sorry if i have told anything wrong….keep doing ur good work….and give more no’s in ur sweet voice….
