Man, Kailash Kher (and Kailasa) is one of top favs these days, saw him live 2 weeks back here in San Francisco (open air). When he sang this song, the tall redwood trees around seemed small and bowed in reverence.
While very few can have the tonal qulity of KK (which is as earthy as its divine), but rest all elements you surely have packed in your voice.
I never compare any singer to any singer, neither I want anyone to be copycats. Originality I always appreciate. If possible, try to incorporate a few variations of your own. Tht’ll make your rendition so much more special. I know you can do it. And post the well recorded version instead of posting teasers/fragments.

@Styajit: As you have rightly said….this was like a teaser. I have sung this song as well as Saiyaan in front of Kailashji himself….and I am sure they were totally my versions with my own feel and variations. Sadly I do not have recordings of those sessions. I am planning to record few songs professionally in a studio sometime for my own satisfaction….Teri Deewani and Saiyaan are sure candidates. Once I have them posted….I am sure you will have less mistakes to point out. Just waiting to cull out some free time and to decide on a good recording studio in Bangalore. Till then……get ‘teased’ :)

Great voice throw, Sahakti…. !!! This is a song that is not an easy candidate to keep in tune in a Live session…. !!! And you were there almost 95%… and great energy, too… !
