@Sheba: I have been looking at ways to unleash the true power of the iPad and have realized that you would need a few accessories to be able to get great results.
This is what I use now.
1. Platform – iPad
2. App – Garage Band
3. Audio Interface – Apogee One
4. Mic – Internal condensor mic of Apogee One

Shakti – Lovely singing. Vary clear harkatein on high notes and that’s the highlight of the rendition. Must say, great job of recording on iPad. Apogee one internal mic is quite decent. Tried myself too.
