just one tip ill give…….voice levels needs to be same even when u modulate……some places it was up and doen….but that doesnt mean that its a negative……no way….this rendition is far far far far far better than any rendition of this song on Muziboo…….Brialliant job……

This is the best cover I have heard of this song! The best part about it was you sang it in your own style, it was your interpretation of the song. The covers I have mostly heard have the Kishore Kumar influence. Not that its bad, but this one sounded so different!

I generally do not listen to Kishore’s songs rendered by others save Pradip. Main reason is Kishore’s extra base is usually absent in most of the re-renditions by others and that is kind of a non-attractive feature.

But your version is more like a jagjit’s rendition of kishore’s song. It was beautiful. you are one singer who knows how to modulate your voice appropriately for the extra oomph in the songs. idhellaam solli koduththu varaadhu. thannaala vandhaa dhaan uNdu. Just superb !

Thanks Rajesh for considering my request ….In fact I love all those great singers from the golden era …Rafi saab, Hemant Kumar, Manna dey, Mukeshji ….but yes Kishoreda is my favourite …grew up listening to his songs a lot and also a big fan of his voice. :-)

Its like Hariharan singing KK song. KK always, with his power, makes a statement even in sad songs. Without that power, the song may appear brilliant, but at high pitches where the force was necessary it was compromised by suppressing the voice creating the illusion of high pitch, which Hariharan so often does….KK is always open throat, never supressing….

Otherwise the song is amazingly well sung…I am too small to comment in this way, but I am a KK fan thats why had to :D
