First of all, I loved the mixing and the vocal tones. It was really good.

Sindhuja – Your singing is spot on. Very expressive got me hooked to the song :-)Mere in Ankhon mein was a bit rushed I felt.

Rajeshji – There is a lot of improvement in your rendition of Hindi songs. I used to feel a lot of KJY touch in your previous ones. This one is a bit free from that :-). I loved your singing :-D

Good work, Rajesh and Sindhuja. I liked the mixing except for the second interlude where Sindhuja sings the Aalapana along with Sitar. The reverb sounded a bit too much than is needed.

I also found slight hesitation in Sindhuja’s singing (more particularly, pronunciation). Not sure if it is the Hindi factor.

Overall, very pleasant rendition!

An excellent rendition! Both of your voices flow so well. Sindhu – the alaap seemed a little pitchy, also I felt hesitation in few places. The last “Saansen rukh jaane lagi” was awesome! Sing more confidently, you have such a good voice, use it to the max.

4:28 sangathi was beautiful! Was very interested to see how you had done the charanams (somehow didn’t enjoy it very much in the original) and I must say I was pleasantly surprised to see how delicately you had handled the same :)
Humming at 2nd BGM could have been better.

This song was never a favorite of mine. But listened nonetheless for the voices.

Sindhu :

There is a strong carnatic inflection in the 4 opening lines and I was shaking my head unapprovingly unconsciously. You could open up in the high notes ( kisi yaadein hain sada hawaaon mein …kisi ke baatein hain ). You could take a cue from the way you sang anbendra.

Of course your adherence to shruti and your sweet tone compensate for these things. noteworthy place : saansen ruk jaane lagi – great job there.

Rajesh:

Beautiful. Nothing else to say. lekin main mehrbaan at the end – excellent and serves as sample for the rest of the rendition.

Beautiful singing!! What more can I say?

I felt Sindhuja was a little uncomfortable in the beginning. But later she ramped up and was in a total sink!

Rajesh’s entry in the middle of the song was a treat!

I love this song. Heard this in sindhus blog sumtime back. And tat mix sounded different, probably due to muziboo thing. Once again enjoyed. Wonderful singing Rajesh n Sindhu!

Such a beautiful song to pick guys… haven’t heard this b4 ( duh!:-)

Think the hesitation that everyone has mentioned might be more of a latency issues, think there’s some here and there where probably one might feel you are hesitant Sindhuja. Ennoda 2c :D

My GOD, what a wonderful performance! Thats called proffessional level, 100%. With the risk of being fired badly, the female voice sounds to me better than the original and the male voice equally good.
