Music is equally n some times more important than vocal rendering…. For a singer to shine well and be heard, music gotta be in tandem with the voice. I could understand this from the committment u had to re-upload this with better track and mixing options…. Track is so clear and I could really feel the difference and adds value to Roshine’s voice (an echo and softness that makes Roshine’s voice more better I guess). I am left aside in absolute tranquillity by this song…. Raj u rock as usual such a sweet voice da…. Roshnie ur voice is gr8 in this track thanks to Raj’s efforts…. Thanks for the comments. And one thing I want to tell people. Even the best of any work has got the scope of improvement if it is to be remade or redone. It is universal and I believe the same. And pertaining to this rendition, it was done by 2 amateurs and its really stunning and irking that expectations are set in comparing the renditions with the originals which are done in an effective way after employing the necessary effects and of course the father of that particular – the music director near-by. Moreover I feel its quite unnecessary to compare the cover versions with the original. And as I have had a chance to interact with few contemporary playback singers in the industry, I understood that it s the recording substratum that creates the magic with the voices.
Its very simple according to me. If someone wants to get the same feel as the original, its high time that the person should stop frequenting muziboo and stay back listening to the original n number of times. Why wasting time in listening to the attempts of amateurs? And there are people in this portal itself who are real professionals. So cant expect the same from all and I would call it a humbug totally. And some people visiting spaces randomly and commenting as they wish is totally ridiculous giving percentage as if they can fulfil what they expect from the singers of that particular rendition. Its high time too to stop this nonsense and start encouraging people. If pointers are to be given, let us give it here and if something more than that has to be conveyed, we can mail that person and do it. Its as simple as that. Am really sorry if I sounded harsh. Its my personal opinion and wish many would comply with this for sure. Thanks all.

Raj I am not sure if you included me also in this comment.But just wanted to share my two cents. The song needn’t be as the original and nowhere did I mention that just to clarify it. I just mentioned the fact how the original song sung by Unnikrishnan ji and chinamayeeji connected to me. All these songs become a hit for laymen because of that connection which is unexplainable. Raj you are a wonderful singer and I strongly feel someday you will be getting the right recognition that is in some serious commercial projects( you have all caliber to become a playback singer) and I admire you for the way you sing. The way you pronounce tamizh is just awesome and crystal clear and the sangathis that flow through your voice drive me crazy at times. Roshnie also has enthralled me with many of her performance. This one song just didn’t go well down on me and trust me I didn’t compare the song with the original except yeah for the mood.
Raj you will rock for sure My million prayers….The environment suddenly became hostile:) My expectations about Raj are beyond this one post and Muziboo. We interact more than just Muziboo. Raj Anna hope you are not mad with me as much as Sowmyaji is :D

I never ever had taken the comments personally. And I don’t wish to point out anyone at any point of time while reciprocating a comment or giving my comment as well. Its my opinion and I just wanted to make it clear what I felt. I am not taking this particular rendition into context. After a month-long tenure in Muziboo, I felt these myself. So wanted to make it clear to all. As I have the right to comment or write what I feel in my space without offending anyone. Had I written these elsewhere, I would have been kicked. Lol. Nothing personal. So don’t get offended. Keep encouraging people. In fact, I know what I am capable of and what my pros and cons are. So I am trying to improve what I lack. And obviously I would expect at least a word encouraging the improvement and thousand words pointing out the flaws. I expect the same from everyone and for everyone. So I follow this – one should put himself in the singer’s shoes and think how would he take the comment before drafting. And I never sound harsh to anyone hitherto. But now I am literally getting fuzzed by things happening in Muziboo and I am categorically explaining what I feel. I don’t mind if it hurts anyone as my response was not intended to hurt anyone. And I can’t be responsible if that has offended. Keep Singing/listening and make this community affluent with music. Cos only music can heal the wound of a soul and pampers it to rest :-)

I too second Raj’s one particular comment pointing to give atleast one encouragement apart from 1000 pointers for a song/singer- That sounds fair enough Raj. We must understand and appreciate the freedom being given to post our comments, however we all love music so much that united us here. Let me tell u very frankly if Raj or Roshine had not sung this to suit my mood, I feel I’ve no rights to say that they had let me down; I still have an option to listen to original version and cheer myself. I feel we all are here to comment on what was really good and what could have been better, but certainly not to impose our expectations from singers here. If SPB sir is my favorite singer, I cant expect Raj to be SPB or Rosh to be Janaki…. I myself cant expect me to sing like SPB…. I strongly feel that Raj n Rosh are truly good singers who can come out with better scores for every song- that is called improvement. A positive feedback motivates you to outperform while an adverse comment must help a singer identify the cons towards improvisation. Rather the feedback must not reflect your mood or taste but the singer’s performance in a particular song…. Great work indeed Rosh and Raj- Hats off….

Hi Raj, I believe even God is not perfect. After all, on one hand he produced you and on the other hand he produced me ;) thats in lighter vein. I want to see another Lata or a Rafi or a Kishore or a PBS or a AM Raja or a Jikki or a SPB. . . . the list is endless. no two individuals are alike. You have your talent which ‘only’ you have. There cannot be another Raj. I also wonder who’s commenting on whom. Is it a professional assessing another pro, or a pro assessing an amateur, or an amateur gauging another amateur or an amateur commenting on a pro. . . i am sort if confused.
