Nice hit song of Raja and apt for two couples as narrated by you, Raj!.

Overall good performance by both of you but was not totally moved with all the nuances … I got the feeling that there are fractionals and some accents need betterment. This song is not as easy as it sounds and for that kudos to you both for going for it.

Knowing your talents one wants more in this song!.

Very well sung.No doubt about it.One thing, try to sing in your voice instead of imitating raja sir’s voice.Due to this, the expression is lacking.I have been noticing right from your
sethu song.You are trying to imitate the original singers.Try to avoid that and sing in your
own style.Otherwise your voice is so good.Agree with arvind about the accent…All the
best and enjoy singing.

Raj – agree with Srini’s obs. Nee IR madiri andha tone and throw modulate pannirka….:) onnoda natural softness and expression koranju pochu, coz of that….:) don’t…nee onna madiriye paadu….appo dhaan andha natural charm full’a vardhu…but rest kekkave vendaam…

Subha – lovely voice….30 min recording’lam super… :) 2nd charanam’la solra madiri, oru shade avasarama paadina madiri irukku….first 2 lines…

enjoyed the ‘yen devi’, ‘yen deva’ lines….those came out very nicely….

overall enjoyed the song… :))

That initial Aalap was fantastic Raj. Got goose bumps.

Still could remember this song in Ahalya’s Party. covered by her husband and his sister in law.They were awesome even in a live show.

Raj I have no words to type here about how wonderfully you have sung this song. Not an easy one to cover at all. and @ some places it was like the original. could add this song 100 times to the fav’s only for your aalap.

Shuba has also has supported you very well.

Well done Raj and Subhashini – not having been involved with Tamil film music during the Illayaraja years except for the odd hit that would turn into a hindi movie or an Agninakshatram-like hit, to me this is first hand.

So I would say you both have done a great job.

I did feel some places could have some more consistency in your output and also thought some more emotive rendering would make it stand out.

Very nice singing by both! Raj, I felt the same as Srini, it wud be nice if you sing in your own style as in ‘uravugal’ or ‘pennalla’. Subha – Sweet voice as always, but guess you had sung it a hurry. Not sure whether track seemed to be misleading, your portions seemed to rush esp ‘sevvanthipoovidhu’.
