Feels good to be back with a song, after a fortnight… My sincere thanks to Murali Venkatraman for having trusted me and giving the k-track of this awesome number which he had made for himself to cover… I consider this as my second innings or I could even say a recovery from an ordeal which hasn’t given any respite affecting my throat as well… Had sung this a week back but was not happy with the output… Being an adamant optimist, I tried my best to render this without altering the scale or tempo which is wee higher than the original… Originally sang by KJY, this stands out as one of his bests having a philosophical gist… Not sure how I had delivered this… But with the prevailing mind-set, I am more than happy with the output… And I also tender my apologies to my e-duet partners, composers and fellow people for not having met the stipulations in completing the collaborative works and for staying away from commenting on your works… I assure you, I will start working on those works and listen to your posts hence-forth… :) I expressed the feel of my soul through this song and if you could empathize with me listening to this cover at even one place, I will construe that I have given my best… Thanks in advance for your time and comments…

Good rendition Raj, but felt that your vocal volume was a bit down in the mix and I wanted to hear more open throated singing, may be radiating from your chest a bit more?. Just my candid thoughts, but nothing to take away your singing. I know everybody has a certain vocal tone but just occured to me that singing from chest and stomach as they say could markedly make you sound better.
Nice philosophical number by Vaali and Ilayaraja, apt for the movie as sung by an old wise man, but to be sounding so wise at your age is unwarranted I feel! (smiling here!).
You have sung very well, so kudos to that. By the way, the percussion – on the beat – was a bit too loud and kinda subdued you somewhat. Vocal should always sit higher than the bgm especially in these types of message oriented songs.
All the best and I hope you felt better for having done this song!.

I loved the way you sang:

The emote at 2:20…that kanavugaL a meltdown right there….and Pirakintra bOthE and pEdhai manithanE…. ah ha this somehow reminds me of mera jeevan kora khagaz song tune those high notes.
The kaalangaL maarum that ‘’mmm ’’ sustain was Wow, just beautiful and such a clean concentrated delivery.

Raj, am very glad to know that you are not a realist…:) World is mostly full of many realists…I always have a very last opinion about them.Pure opportunist are the realist and are very practical and self centered too. But tell me where is the realist exists in this song :P Almost the entire lyrics are very pessimistic to boost up the optimistic thought in the last line.
