What to say about this song?? Space is just not enough to have my graffiti posted here. I simply adore the man who has perfectly sung this original song – Shri Prathivathi Bayangara Srinivas – PBS. What a voice he was gifted with!!!!! Though the figure of his songs’ count is not so huge, the reception he had for his style of singing and deliverance was simply unbelievable. Though he was born in Andhra Pradesh, he is known for his ‘konju thamizh’ and ‘expressive kannada’ Thanks to Mr Expressive Singer of Muziboo, Kumaran Brother(My personal opinion) for suggesting me to cover this song and I dedicate this to him. And I do have other tracks of PBS – both solos and duets. Would like to do duets. :-) Any female singer interested, pls do mail me. And male singers wishing to get the tracks, can mail me as well to get the tracks. Thanks.
P.S: Track is not so good. And for the first time, I myself mixed this song. lol

The k-track takes away the charm of this performance.
In my opinion, PBS is THE inimitable singer among all playback singers in Indian cinema – his subtle sangathis are natural and very unique to his own singing style – You have the knack to capture those nuances and deliver the same with ease.
I am sure better recording facility will bring out the best in you!!

@Sriram brother! I too think that the track is not so good. Let me concentrate more on mixing next to rendering my voice hence-forth. PBS is my all time favourite. A stunning fact is that he has totally sung only 91 songs in tamil but got fame and recognition as the other singers of his generation. I would love to cover PBS and A M Raja songs as I love their tones. :-)

Very well sung. Have not heard this song before, but I enjoyed your expressive rendition and the subtle modulations. Keep experimenting with the mixing, there is no better way to perfect that art – am still working on it after over a year of trying :-).

Hi Raj,
Once Pirya & Myself met PBS in person. He was very jovial and we never expected that at his age. You know, what he said about “PBS”…. " Play Back Singer". He was proud about being a play back singer and which naturally fitting to his name as well. He knew as many as 17 laguages to read,write and speak. He can easily write poetry in all laguages it seems. He was trying to share all his experience with us when we were with him for an hour.
He said his fav. singer was Mohd. Rafi saab. He said about greatness of almost all the singers, music directors and lyrix writers of his gener. I adore this great PBS for his talent, achievements and humbleness. Fantastic human being.
Thanks for covering his number. You have done a great job, which easily attracted me to share some of our nice moments spent with this great man.
Well sung Raj. Liked it. Keep them coming.
My only humble request to you is that please search for good quality tracks, bcas you being a quality singer, deserve a good quality ones.

In the first charanam is it Pattadai thottilile chithu pol or Pithu pol(paithiam pol)? Please listen the original once more. It is singing as pithu pol by PBS. Enjoyed a lot
