honestly…(this word also spoiled here… so i add…)Truly &Honestly, I have never come across seen such versatile singer… she is just ammmmaazzzinnnggg…

I remember many ppl here talking about rating system…etc…wht for it is…?and what parameters you have to measure and get the results ?

no of plays…? no of thumbs up?…no of dwnloads…? believe me…all of them are useless….

take rashme and her songs as an example such genuine singer is left behind and no one had a clue about her singing talents… how you gonna measure her singing talent with your so called authentic measuring parameters…?

well…topic is going to something else…

The point is that all these rating system will work only based publicity…(adding friends, writing scribbles…foot notes…etc) and which will give a fake results… and people like rashmi will be left behind like this with out recognition….so rating system in muziboo is not possible and its of no use…why we need a rating system what difference it gonna make…? People who are demanding for the rating system can answer me here…ok…i will start a topic about it later in this same place…

Oh god the subject matter is Rashme I am diverted to something else…

TRULY & HONESTLY… If I am a music director my great pleasure would be having rashmi singing for me…

I agree suku….Somewhere down the line the basic purpose of singers(selfproclaimed…lol) being here is defeated…If a wonderful singer like rashmi doesnot get an audience here then who would?? Are we limiting ourselves to a small circle and not looking at the newcomers. I think its high time people started opening their ears to such wonderful talents as this. And btw good job raj that u have highlighted and brought this to public notice…

Rashmi madhu is a very good singer in muziboo. I understand she is already a professional singer and sung for some albums.
I have listened to her songs and commented too.
She has mostly covered old songs only. Hence it reaches a class of people only. I love her songs with classical base! (Athukku kooda oru ulaga nayagan vanthu innum practice pannunnu comment panninar :( )
She has 72 friends, which is not a small number! I could see that we have many common friends in the list. The fact is that she has not uploaded any songs for the past 6 months.
So she is not hit / popular in the recent alai~~~~~
The success or wider coverage and reach not only depends upon adding friends, scibbles, but how frequent we comment on others’songs we cover songs and what kind of songs we cover….like the latest hits.Song selection also plays a role definitely.
May be she is very busy singing playback or for private albums these days.
Don;t worry guys, if not in muziboo she will be popular somewhere else!
I wish her success in her career!

Good job in promoting Rashmi. But, Bharathi has hit the nail on the head. I’ve known about Rashmi for at least a 10 months now. She is indeed gifted. She does not get noticed coz she hardly ever comments on songs and has very limited friends. Muziboo is a community which is based on ppl commenting and helping each other. Thats what gets others attention. Not ratings. In fact, there is no rating system anymore (I wouldnt call “like” a rating) other than favorites, which I think is an accurate measure of how good a song is.

If you look at people who are most popular on muziboo, its not purely coz of singing talent or how well they write or play an instrument. It is more so coz of how active they are, how often they comment on others songs, and how many friends they have.

Rashmi is not very active on the site and does not actively participate in the community. I feel that a singer of Rashmi’s caliber also has a responsibility to encourage amateurs on this site and point out how they can improve. God knows we need more people of her caliber to critique others. It is a give n take.

I hope she gets more active here and encourages others. If she does that, she will automatically get the exposure she deserves.
