Kanne Kalaimane - Cover Version by Rahul
Kanne Kalaimane - Cover Ver... Lyrics & Chords
I have been in Muziboo for months now. My basic idea was to listen to all of the wonderful singers here. I have not been disappointed at all, because got to hear some wonderful cover versions and original compositions. Everybody here are full of knowledge and ready to share. So I finally decided to sing a cover version of mine. I know this song has many versions already. But this is the first K-track I got and I didn’t want to let go. Special thanks to Rajesh,George and Pradeep ettan for providing lot of encouragement. My friends Rekha&Unni who have helped a lot in the mixing&singing aspects. Also, I have sung the last charnam which has had lots of controversy as “nee thaan endrum en sanidhi”. Please give me your support and feedback.

A great start Rahul! You have a good voice and you sing well :) Am not good enof to comment on other technicalities. Enjoyed listening to your version.
PS: detected a slight mal accent in your tamil, I guess that can’t be helped!

Its beautiful! Your voice must be given due credit! It’s a commendable maiden effort, and I am happy to have helped! The song has been sung with heart, but the feel given to the words can be improved. Overall, it’s awesome! But I must say, this is by no means a reflection of the best of your talent – having heard you sing not just once, I can vouch for that! Let’s continuously stive for improvement! :)

Nice song to pick for a cover.
Nice voice and your adherence to shruthi is also pretty good. However, that being said, your renditions lack a little feel, am unsure if it’s the language or something. keep singing more and practice will help you with the flow of words and the nuances.

Srinivas&Meera – Eventhough I am from Kerala, I understand Tamizh very well. Western accent hehe….that one was new….:-) But i know that there may be a lot of accent problems. A lot have told about the feel. I will try in future song. But when i sang this, i was indeed carried away. Maybe didn’t reflect. Thanks a lot for your inputs.

Hi Rahul! :)
I am Sushanth from B’lore… I liked your singing… You have a clean voice without too much vibrato… This will certainly help you when you sing straight notes…
Just a couple of thoughts on this song…
1) Try to give some more sustenance to the end of every line… You have done it many places, but still there are some places where you could improve, especially the Raari Raaro… Rather than givin an abrupt end, try to sustain the note for a few more seconds. It will sound great!
2) Your feel was good… But, I guess some more feel could help in songs like these… They would sound awesome…
Otherwise clean singing… I liked it… Thank you… All the very best!!

see, witin four months of uploading your first song in Muziboo u have the credit of “Played 366 times | 52 comments | favs. 2 people | 23 Downloads” which itself shows how u have sung…good attempt…as mentioned above by some other friends….feel was lacking and I felt u could have given more stress to the words……but a nice pick
…nd one piece of advice (this I give to my daughter alwayz)…once u start singing (whereever it be, on stage or on somebody’s request etc.etc….once u start singing…then don’t bother about the surroundings…the stage is yours…solely yours…nee thaan raja/rani……start with full confidence and never think about the line that has already been sung (if not sung as expected), but concentrate on the rest of the song and try to make it perfect…nd I bet u will be the winner….so dont lose hope…keep singing… god has given u a good voice nd keep singing more songs in Muziboo… u have a lot of ‘good’ critics here (they encourage u alwayz…)
