Hi,

I’m Rahul Naik and I live in California with my wife and daughter.

I have been deeply attached to music but have never pursued it as a talent. However, I have keenly observed and indeed reveled in what musicians have gifted us.

Recently I came across Muziboo.com and was enthralled by the volume of good songs and singers who upload their creations for others to sample and relish.

I am a part of an informal music club (called Sangeet Mehfil) and we meet on a monthly basis to sing (karaoke). Each month we agree upon a theme (Love songs, Monsoon songs……) and we pick our songs and we sing them. Most of the members of this group are genuinely talented and gifted but i am not among them. Therefore, I have to learn each song and practice it.

While practicing, I record myself and then play it back so that I can observe the defects and make corrections (to the best of my abilities) in preparation for the Mehfil.

Over time, I have accumulated a few dozen recordings and I have uploaded a handful to muziboo. I cannot claim that these are in any way worthy of your time but if you happen to chance upon them, I’d be happy if you could provide me with your honest views / feedback.
