My Shraddhanjali to Babuji…….
It is strange that just four days ago, I was here paying tributes to Sudhir Phadke on his 92nd birthday. Today is his 9th death anniversary, prompting me come back and offer my shraddhanjali to this legendary composer and singer.
This time around, it’s a Marathi Bhavageet, composed by Ram Phatak and written by Sudheer Moghe.
Do excuse me for singing on an instrumental (violin) track, the ony one I could lay my hands on. Hence I have toned down the track volume.

Raghu bhai….uttam rendition….loved it. You know something I had the opportunity of seeing Babuji in person at Dadar….had gone with a friend long time ago while in Mumbai when I was probably 23 to an establishment. My friend whispered in my ears….that person who just passed us is sudhir phadke:-) ….he looked like a common man on the street…I guess thats how most of the talented people looked like those days….no airs and vibes around them….just let their music speak for them….loved your rendition …keep it up.

Excellent singing and superb feel. Not an easy one to sing but you have done a full justice to this number. Will like to listen it again whenever you get a track without the backing instrumentation.
