My Shraddhanjali to Mohammad Rafi Sahab……
My apologies for being late here, albeit by just a day!
I had decided that I would pay my respects to this legendary singer, on his 31st death anniversary, by rendering one of his rare gems. And this song of Rafi Sahab, falls in this category. On screen, it features the ‘light-footed’ Joy Mukherjee (you would have noticed this is how he normally walks!) and the coy Nanda. I have sung the full three-antara version here.
Hope I stir up memories of the great man, not that he can ever be forgotten.
