I have been wanting to do this Mohammad Rafi naghma for quite some time now! It’s the repeated highs and lows in this song that has drawn me to it.
I hope I have been able to bring out the pathos in this rendition, wherin the singer has lost his lady love due to his own folly and is deeply regretting it. At least that’s what the lyrics suggest……

Raghuji ….wonderful pick….this song can bring tears in any human being….Rafi saab sang his heart out in this as usual. Great rendition, very nice expressions….loved it very much. Minor nit picks would be the tremelo in your voice, which you may want to curtail while singing Rafi songs….overall excellent rendition !!!

I keep listening to this…. just like that…… to relax…. Today was just listening to it parralel to the original…… U’ve got the song so accurate, not a pitch that one can hear…., not a half of it missed…… And believe me, I do not give my ears for 6 computer programs able to check it…. :) Admit, I am increasing Your play count around here…. Love it completely….

But without any disregard to your observation, I have listened in to the 2nd antara a few times over and have failed to catch any…… Maybe it’s a case of a doctor not being able to diagnose himself?! Other listeners too are welcome to comment on this….

I heard it again and still felt the same pitching problem at 3.17 …To be precise you started the second antara ‘Tu Khayalon mein Mere’….at a lower note…From probably ‘apni palkon pe’….you came back to the original pitch……Anyway…I could be wrong…if you feel it is ok…leave it…may be I need to clean up my ear-drums…:)
