Friends, its HUM DONO time! This Classic Dev Anand-Sadhana starrer was recently re-released in a colorized version. What better way for me to salute my star idols than posting this evergreen duet?
Let me introduce Vidya, my singing partner in this venture. She is a talented singer in her own rights and I am happy we collaborated. I recently introduced her to Muziboo and you are likely to see her in full flow in the near future. In fact, she has already posted our maiden duet in her space. You are welcome to take a listen to that one too and comment!

It sometimes happens with me too. When I hear a song after a long time, I tend to feel that the tempo is faster. That’s because, when you casually hum a song, you tend to do hum it at a slower tempo!

Actually, its a matter of debate how a cover song should be approached. Attempt a 100% copy-cat job or add some originality at the expense of being told that you did not manage to reproduce the original. Not an easy one to answer.

@Raghu ji, you have sung this song brilliantly getting all the technical things right. i felt it missed that ‘nasheela romantic feel’ that Rafi saab managed to bring in this song.
@Vidya, I have sang this song many times, and it is difficult for a female singer to match the pitch, and from that POV, you have done very well!
